Updated May 22, 2021

Your well being has always been our priority and we’ve implemented processes to ensure your health and safety. While there are additional protocols behind the scenes, here is what you need to know when you visit Formation Studio.

Increased Deep Cleaning

The team will use disinfectant proven to kill viruses like COVID-19. We’ll be disinfecting common spaces after every class with special attention to weights and high-touch surfaces like doorknobs, lockers, handles, rails, the front desk, water station and instructor equipment.

Gloves + Health Screening

While cleaning, staff will be in fresh gloves. Team members will have health assessments prior to working and there is a flexible sickness policy ensuring that no team member works if they have any symptoms.

Attending a Class

Prior to arriving clients will be requested to evaluate their health and if unwell, not attend. If you feel unwell or have any concerns about coming in, please stay home and stay safe. We’ll happily add the class back to your account and welcome you back when you’re healthy and feel ready for class.

Checking In Procedure

Hand sanitize upon entering. Temperature check. You will be asked health screening questions before being admitted into class.

High-Touch Amenities

To minimize contact, amenities like face mists, hair products, Q-Tips and deodorant will be removed. Showers will be unavailable for the time being.

Online Bookings Only + No Classpass

Walk-ins will not be accepted at this time. Please book ahead. We will not be on Classpass at this time.

Cancellation Policy

To accommodate clients, we kindly ask that you adhere to the cancellation policy and cancel with adequate notice.

Checking In + Social Distancing

Markers will be placed on the floor so you can maintain social distancing throughout the space. Please arrive on time but not too early. Once checked in, you’ll wait inside the studio.

Mandatory Masks Prior to Class

Please wear a mask when you check in. You may remove your mask once you are in your designated space within the studio. Please put it back on before you leave the studio.

In the Studio

You will have a designated area for movement within the studio that keeps you a safe space from other clients. To facilitate this we have decreased class capacity by 65%. Please bring your own mat for Power classes.

Evolving

As the situation changes and we learn more, we’ll continue to update these processes. Please check back regularly. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at hi@theformationstudio.com

Our Collective Responsibility

Aside from respecting the safety guidelines put in place by our government, we ask that anyone who visits Formation Studio is considerate to keeping the greater community safe and healthy.

  • Please make sure to practice social distancing when in close, shared spaces like the bathrooms. Follow the markers placed around the studio to maintain a safe distance.

  • If you have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the studio until you’re symptom-free and fever-free for three days.

  • If you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.

  • Practice personal responsibility and attend classes at your own risk. If you are in a high-risk category or live with someone who is, we understand that attending an in-studio class may not be right for you at this time. By choosing to attend class at Formation Studio, even with the increased health and safety protocols you acknowledge and accept the additional risks associate with the global health pandemic of COVID-19.
