Thank You: A Note From Shai
As one of the first team members to join Formation, we’ve had an incredible journey with Shai. If you’ve been to his class you know the energy he inspires and the fun atmosphere he creates, especially as he makes you count down the last four (burning) moves with him. And I know he has a lot of fans who only see him on digital as he provides you that intense workout from home with just the space of a yoga mat.
Beyond class, he’s helped shape our Power program and taught so much to the whole team. It’s a bitter-sweet moment as we’re really proud of his growth in the time he’s been with us. We are excited for his new venture Nomad Studio and wish him the very best. Shai’s last in-person class will be on October 27.
FORMATION & FORM-NATION – Farewell and thank you.
As I am writing this note, it made me realize how lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard – so this is not a goodbye. Saying goodbye does not mean anything. It’s the time we spent together that matters.
My time with Formation taught me something so treasured that I will cherish forever – CONNECTION.
Formation in its core is all about building a community that share the similarities and celebrate the differences through the power of connection. I will always remember those moments where we connected in the living room through the flip of Formation Connection Cards. Some of the questions are funny; some are emotional, and some are philosophical – but through it all, I learned the whole lot about you – all personalities and characters that is Form-Nation. Thank you.
To Form-Nation – it is such a privilege for me to be a part of your weekly routine. It is amazing to witness the growth you have made since our first class together. And it is as remarkable to see the strength in unity in each class with the trust you have had in me in unleashing your inner power. My reminder to you is to always remember that the key to progress is time plus consistency. So please continue to make the time, be consistent – and I promise you we’ll make the progress together.
To Saschie and Roman, thanks for making me recognize the importance of (re)connecting with myself. Since the first time we met, both of you had always challenged me to establish a deeper and meaningful connection between Formation values with my outlook. That led to many self-discovery moments in breaking the invisible wall that I never knew existed. I discovered so many layers of interests, vulnerabilities, comforts, and curiosities in which I celebrated so liberally for all the time I had with you whether in real life at the studio and the rooftops or virtually through digital classes. Thank you.
To the team – Dan, Hannah, Maddi, Megan, Mik, Shae, you are the missing colors to my rainbow. The laughter we share not only brighten up my days but also the reminder of how much joy we had together in crafting all the routines and being each cheerleader every step of the way. You are all uniquely amazing and keep inspiring From-Nation one beat at a time.
As this is not a goodbye, I am simply going to say thank you.
Thank you for giving me joy, thank you for showing up for me and most of all, thank you for all the connections and memories. I will see you around in studio while dancing my booty off in Freedom and Presence or slaying that infamous black bands in Power.
